About

Hi, I'm Kurt.

I've spent my career on the systems side of business. I started in operations engineering at Google, and today I work in enterprise systems engineering: ERP platforms, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, and the integrations that hold them together.

KWL Labs brings that same discipline to small businesses. Big companies have whole teams making their data flow. You should get the same results without hiring an IT department.

I am professionally certified in cybersecurity, so your accounts are set up with sensible access controls from day one, and everything stays in your name.

FAQ

Common questions.

How much does a project cost?

Most projects get a fixed price after a short intro call, once I understand what you need. Smaller ongoing help is available hourly. Either way, you'll see the cost in writing before any work begins.

Do you only work with businesses in Omaha?

No. Almost everything can be done remotely over video calls and screen sharing, so I work with businesses anywhere in the US.

Who owns the accounts and automations you build?

You do. Everything is set up in your accounts, under your business name, with admin access you control. You get documentation so anyone on your team, or another consultant, can pick it up later.

Do I need to buy new software?

Usually not. Most of the work uses tools you already pay for. If something new would help, I'll explain why and what it costs before recommending it.

What if something breaks after handoff?

Every project includes a follow-up check-in after go-live. After that, I offer ongoing support hourly, or as a monthly retainer for businesses that want someone on call.
